Hi! I'm Lorena, illustrator of
your next dream
I was born in Sicily, in a small town in the province of Agrigento, but in my adolescence I constantly moved to live from one country to another. This gave me a good ability to adapt, also considering the years of university in Catania away from home.
I got my artistic diploma, I needed art to touch my heart and the need to express myself through it was great. I graduated in sculpture (three years) and photography (specialist).
Love and life brought me to Bologna, where I worked in different sectors and where I still live and work.
In recent years I have decided to take back control of my professional life, which no longer satisfied me. I studied the themes of illustration, especially that dedicated to children. I took some courses in Italy and traveled to Europe to discover talented illustrators and illustrators who inspired me a lot and all this allowed me to keep an open mind, which is fundamental for me.
To date, I carry out projects for individuals and collaborate with small publishing companies.
